DAS ATE - First for ATE
In the final of her series of articles, Fran Clothier, Senior Business Development
Manager (ATE), looks at why DAS ATE are First for ATE.
Since writing our ATE first policy in 2002,
DAS UK (part of the ARAG Group) are proud
to have spearheaded the ATE industry.
Over the years, our product has had many names;
from 80e (what were we thinking!) and DAS
LawAssist to DAS ATE. One thing has remained
consistent regardless of whatever the product
was called, and that has been our commitment
to access to justice. This is why we opened our
offering to all firms, regardless of size; we have a
solution to suit everyone, and clients and firms
should be able to access our products regardless
of their size.
Throughout our 22 year history we have evolved
our offering and currently we support clients
with their clinical negligence, personal injury and
civil disputes.
Our people remain our USP. This is reflected in
our customer satisfaction survey, with 99% of our
partners being satisfied with our service.
The average length of service in our ATE team
is 10 years. Our team are experts in understanding
complex legal issues and interpreting our policies
against them. We promote personal development,
encourage vocational learning and subscribe
to various online training platforms to ensure our
team remains engaged.
We also offer apprenticeships alongside
on the job training and this has been extremely
successful in attracting a new generation of
insurance professionals. Lewis Bartlett from our
Operations team, who joined us after completing
his A-Levels, shares his experience:
" Since starting the first apprenticeship in 2020,
I have moved from a Case Handler to Operational
Support and feel like I have built a very strong
foundation with my apprenticeship for any jobs
I might want to apply for in the future. I am
currently awaiting the outcome of my recent
exams to see if I have achieved CII Level 4
Diploma Certificate in Insurance."
Our history shows that, in this niche area of
insurance, we have the experience, the stability,
and the longevity to support our partners.
Having such a reliable,
no-nonsense insurer as DAS
at your back when conducting
clinical negligence litigation
is absolutely imperative, and
from experience, all of us at CWJ
know what a rare quality that is
in the world of LEI
